Boris a Bono works at the fringes of asymmetric pop, creating wyrd hymns of longing, loss, and mundanity against a backdrop of fractured field recordings, and folk-infused rhythmedelica.His debut EP 'In the Doldrums' is a revelatory song cycle that laments the loss of dead pets, becomes one with the sublime force of transcendent rain and finally loses itself in a haze of the daily stasis of the eternal return. Boris a Bono creates new musical worlds born of recycled and hybridised emotions, a welcome addition to the Becoming Records community.
